*An institutional staff member may provide a student-athlete or an entire team with an occasional meal (and transportation to attend the meal) at any location in the locale of the institution (e.g., home, campus, restaurant) on infrequent and special occasions (NCAA Bylaw 16.11.1.5) *A booster may provide a student-athlete or an entire team with an occasional meal that is conducted at the individual's home, on campus, or at a facility that is regularly used for home competition. The booster may provide transportation only if the meal is conducted at the individual's home (NCAA Bylaw 16.11.1.5(b)) *A signee may attend an occasional meal prior to the first day of classes only if they have arrived on campus with the intent of staying at the institution to attend classes that semester (August 1987, Interp) *A prospect enrolled in summer school and attending classes during the summer term may participate in an occasional meal *During the vacation period, an additional meal may be provided (with prior approval) using this form to meet nutritional needs as a benefit incidental to participation (NCAA Bylaw 13.5.2(e)) *Reasonable refreshments (e.g., soft drinks, snacks) may be provided to student-athletes for educational and business meetings and, on an occasional basis, for celebratory events (NCAA Bylaw 16.11.1.10) *Teams are limited to 10 occasional meals during the academic year.
